I’ve always had a bit of a soft sport for underdogs, at whatever passion it is they happen to be pursuing.  While I’m not a huge basketball fan, or even a great player of the game, I do appreciate a good college basketball game.  Personally, I think that college basketball (sometimes college football) epitomizes all that is pure in sport.  These are not professional athletes on the job working for a paycheck.  Although many of them will be one day.  These are young idealistic adults pursuing the dream of playing a game they love.  Their skilled, energetic, young, and most of all passionate about what they are doing.  It really is sports in it’s purest form.  I look forward, to writing my own personal (albeit amateur) thoughts about the great sport of college basketball.  Or any other underdog sporting accomplishments I may come across.
