These past few weeks or so, have to be the most exciting time of the year for basketball.  What with all of March madness finishing up, followed quickly by the start of the NBA playoffs, it’s got to be next to impossible to drag a basketball fan away from the television.  I should know, as I’m one of them.  Although I’m not very good at basketball betting, I do enjoy trying it out. Even though I do have my favorite teams to cheer for, sometimes it’s nice to make it a bit more interesting, by placing a little fixed odds betting on the side.  As much as I hate to admit it, sometimes by favorite team doesn’t make it as far into the playoffs as I would like them to, so this makes it a little more fun for me.

Sometimes, I even go against my own team.  Sounds like a fair weather fan right?  Not really, this is all about the numbers, and you have to be a little impartial when your doing this kind of thing.  If you find it hard to be impartial, then it’s probably better to just pick games that your team is not playing in.  So, whether your into professional basketball, don’t be shy about picking your favorite and putting a little money down.  It doesn’t take a lot to make it fun, so dive right in.
